Have you ever wondered if
this is what life is meant to be?
Why do human beings—supposedly the most mature and developed species on Earth—feel this way while going through life?
In our pursuit of happiness, we make an underlying assumption: that we’re supposed to be happy all the time. But what we often fail to realize is that the very unhappiness that disrupts our happiness is also part of our reality.
We attach happiness to everything we desire, and unhappiness to everything we don’t. But if you look closely, life simply doesn’t go our way all the time. There will always be things we don’t want—but they, too, are part of life.
Existence doesn’t automatically equal happiness. Some events will disturb it, and that’s just part of the deal.
But the bigger question is: why don’t we like it?
